I'm only vaguely familiar with Spencer, but I agree with the other commenter that free speech shouldn't be dangerous and cannot be in a democratic society.

However, and this is where I agree with you, all sides of the issue need to be educated enough and erudite enough to engage in the discussion; and this is where education above all is my true stance tbh.
