Thanks for the amazing response Jim.

You don't know how badly I wanted to dive into talking about the Star Wars prequels here but it was going too off on a tangent.

All bets are off in the comments tho.

So yes, Lucas certainly destroyed the legacy of Star Wars with the prequels.

But I wouldn't say he killed the soul of the franchise. Disney did that and is doing that. There's nothing inherently special about Star Wars as I'm not sure the original ideas were meant to be stretched this thin. Maybe in the hands of the right artist Star Wars could live on, but watching it being milked dry is sad.

Still, we got the Mandolorian and Obi Wan out ofi it. Like I said, the right creator can make it work.

As for Avengers, God, I have somethoughts about that too dammit but I'm too tired rn lol. Need food. Hit me up on Twitter sometime tho: @AfroReporter and if you live in NY I'll by you a beer sometime.
