How I optimize my social media use in 2022
If you had asked me last year if I enjoyed using social media, I would have adamantly said no.
I believed that social media was so bad — especially for children — that it should be restricted like cigarettes and alcohol.
Social media counts as negative reading: for each word you read on social media, it takes away one word you’ve read from real literature. For this reason, if you’ve read more social media than actual literature, you, unfortunately, deserve execution.
It wasn’t until recently that I finally change my mind on this.
At the moment I’m really enjoying my time on Twitter and in the comment sections of Medium and YouTube. But I’ve learned that there is a tremendous balancing act to social media — no matter if you’re using it for business or personal reasons.
